ROCKY
WELL
› Been producing since 1997 — back when "export to MP3" felt like sorcery. Started in techno & house, which means he has strong opinions about kick drums that he will share unprompted.
Plays keyboards, accordion (yes, really — the instrument of regret and Eastern European weddings), and guitar. Has been singing since birth, allegedly before he could form sentences. His first words were probably a harmony.
Found the rave scene and started DJing in Colorado in 2000 — back when the mountains were full of questionable substances and even more questionable fashion choices. That's also where he met his true love and soul mate: DRUM N' BASS. They've been inseparable ever since. She never complains about his kick drums.
His dirty little mistress, though? That's HARDCORE & GABBER. What Drum n' Bass doesn't know won't hurt her. The relationship is purely BPM-based.
Moved to Philadelphia in 2003, found the warehouse rave scene there, and started DJing house parties where he met Peetey. The rest is history, sealed cement, and several noise complaints.
Held it down at the Chrome Nightclub residency, DJ'd underground raves with names you remember if you were there, and eventually wandered into the burner scene through Playa Del Fuego. Moved back to Colorado because the mountains called and Philly winters are a personal attack.
Still producing remotely with Peetee as DRIPTIDE. Files go east, stems come back, and somehow it still slaps.

CHEESESTEAK CORE
PEETEY
STONE
› Born and raised in PHILADELPHIA — a city that produces either cheesesteaks or people who hit drums too hard. Drums at five, guitar at eleven, always singing.
His Dad started a DJ company in the 80's named Audio Concepts; he inherited turntables from there and started buying underground techno, house, and breaks records in the 90's.
Held down residencies at monthly raves around Philly all through the late 90s and early 2000s. That's where he met Rocky. They bonded over a shared love for early prog rock — Genesis and Yes — which somehow led to them producing, DJ'ing, and briefly having a live band. Yes, really, and no, it didn't last. Together they volunteered helping throw many of the legendary early 2000s Philadelphia underground rave parties.
Between you and us, Peetey's been sneaking around with Rocky's girlfriend DRUM N' BASS on the downlow. Don't tell Hardcore & Gabber either — that one's a real drama bomb. The BPMs don't judge.
Might have been involved in some festival burn shit but if you really know; Millennium3, Proper Flavor, and Echo Collective, will always be his biggest loves.
